Raw materials such as peanuts, sunflower seeds or sesame seeds enter the press bore from the feed hopper. The screw oil press drives the oil seeds forward in the pressing bore (the space is from large to small) through the rotating screw shaft. When the raw materials enter the pressing chamber, the screw shaft applies high pressure and friction to break the cell wall and release the oil. As the pressure increases, the squeezed oil flows out through the tiny gaps in the press bore and is collected, while the pressed oil cake is discharged separately from the other end.
This mechanical pressing process simulates the traditional pressing process, but with higher efficiency. Depending on the needs, the screw press can be used in cold pressing mode to produce nutritious oil or hot pressing mode to increase the yield. Some models are equipped with built-in heating devices to adapt to various hard oil seeds and climatic conditions. Its production efficiency is higher than that of hydraulic oil presses.
